Containment and Airflow

We pair RakworX cabinets with aisle containment and air management so cool air reaches your equipment and hot exhaust is captured, not recirculated.

Build-Out and Installation

We deliver cabinets pre-built with PDUs, baying, and cabling, then install, level, and bay them in a row, ready for equipment.

Built for Density

Six-Brace Construction Rated to 3,000 Pounds

RakworX cabinets use a six-brace construction with corner bracing and a mid-floor crossbar, giving a high load capacity of 3,000 lbs while keeping the frame light and rigid. That stability matters for dense server, networking, and storage loads where deflection is not an option.

Adjustable vertical mounting rails accommodate equipment of different depths, with U positions numbered front and back for fast, accurate installation. Pre-installed leveling feet, casters, and integrated baying brackets at 600mm or 24 inch centers let cabinets join into a stable row.

Airflow and Access

Super Mesh Doors with Up to 78% Ventilation

Front and rear super mesh doors provide up to 78% open area, so high-density equipment gets the airflow it needs without auxiliary fans. The front door uses a curved profile to add surface area for higher perforation and greater airflow.

Reversible quick-release doors open from either side and interchange front to rear, split rear doors save aisle space, and the removable, reversible roof carries six cable access ports. Tool-less snap-on accessories, integrated bonding, and latch, combo, or biometric locks round out a cabinet that is fast to deploy and easy to service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes do RakworX server cabinets come in?

RakworX server cabinets range from 24U to 52U in height, in 600mm and 750mm widths, with depths from 900mm (about 35.4 in) to 1200mm (about 47.2 in). That span covers everything from a compact wiring closet or IDF cabinet to a deep, full-height data center enclosure for dense server and storage equipment. Comp-Utility helps you select the right size for your equipment and aisle layout.

How much weight can a RakworX cabinet hold?

RakworX cabinets are rated to a 3,000 lb load capacity, supported by a six-brace construction that adds corner bracing and a mid-floor crossbar to resist deflection. That rating suits dense server, storage, and networking deployments. For unusually heavy or concentrated loads, Comp-Utility confirms the configuration and floor loading as part of the design.

How well do RakworX cabinets handle airflow and cooling?

RakworX cabinets use front and rear super mesh doors with up to 78% open ventilation, which lets high-density equipment draw cool air and exhaust heat without auxiliary fans. The front door has a curved profile that adds perforated surface area for greater airflow. For high-density rows, Comp-Utility adds aisle containment and air management so cool and hot air stay separated.

Are RakworX cabinet doors reversible?

Yes. RakworX doors use quick-release hinges that let you open from either side and interchange the front and rear doors. The split rear doors reduce the clearance needed behind the cabinet, which helps in space-constrained rooms. The roof is also removable and reversible so larger cable openings can be repositioned for power and connectivity.

What locking options are available?

RakworX cabinets support latch locks, combination locks, and biometric (bio-lock) locking, so you can match physical security to the sensitivity of the equipment inside. Doors and frames also include integrated bonding for grounding. Comp-Utility specifies the locking and access approach that fits your security and compliance requirements.

Can RakworX cabinets be bayed together in a row?

Yes. RakworX cabinets include pre-installed integrated baying brackets with holes for joining cabinets at 600mm or 24 inch centers, depending on your floor layout. Bayed cabinets share structural stability and align cleanly in a row. Pre-installed leveling feet and casters make positioning and leveling straightforward during installation.

What is flat-pack shipping and why does it matter?

Flat-pack shipping is an option on RakworX racks and cabinets that ships the enclosure unassembled to reduce shipping volume and cost and to ease delivery into tight spaces or upper floors. With pre-mounted components, on-site assembly stays straightforward. Comp-Utility can take delivery, assemble, and install the cabinets so they arrive at your room ready to populate.

Can RakworX cabinets be customized or color-matched?

Yes. RakworX offers white-label customization including custom colors such as red, black, blue, white, and grey, modified dimensions and sizes, and open-frame racks in 2-post and 4-post configurations. This lets you standardize on a look or fit a non-standard footprint. Comp-Utility coordinates the custom specification and delivery for your project.

Do RakworX cabinets work with RakworX PDUs and accessories?

Yes. RakworX cabinets are designed to integrate with RakworX intelligent rack PDUs and a full line of tool-less accessories, including cable managers, blanking panels, shelves, and wire troughs. Zero-U mounting positions accept PDUs without consuming equipment U-space. Comp-Utility supplies the cabinet, PDUs, and accessories together so the rack arrives configured as one system.
