The Galaxy VS is a modular three-phase UPS from 10 to 150 kW used to protect edge, small, and medium data centers and critical commercial and industrial loads. It continuously conditions power and switches to battery instantly during a disturbance. The Galaxy VS reaches up to about 97% efficiency in full online double-conversion mode and up to 99% in ECOnversion mode. ECOnversion improves efficiency while still correcting power factor and protecting against disturbances, transferring to full double conversion in milliseconds if needed. The higher efficiency reduces both energy cost and cooling load.

Live Swap is a Schneider feature that allows a trained technician to add or replace a power module while the UPS keeps protecting the load, without transferring to bypass. Yes. The Galaxy VS supports both VRLA and lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion typically offers two to three times the service life, a smaller footprint, faster recharge, and higher temperature tolerance than VRLA. Comp-Utility can specify either chemistry and advise on which lowers total cost of ownership for your runtime and replacement-cycle goals.

Sizing depends on your critical load in kW, redundancy target such as N+1, required battery runtime, and growth plan. Because the Galaxy VS is modular, you can populate power modules as load grows.
