Role Overview

Comp-Utility is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to support the successful execution of the Company's mission-critical projects. This hands-on role will be responsible for on-site support for a variety of project activities, including equipment installations, low-voltage cabling, raised/access flooring, and other related infrastructure work. This individual will play an essential role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing high-quality service to Comp-Utility's customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience working in mission-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare facilities, and other settings where uptime is paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for mission-critical projects, including but not limited to equipment installations and startup, system startups, low-voltage cabling, raised/access flooring and other related infrastructure projects. Ensure all work meets customer specifications and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of time tracking, service work, and inventory on-site. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure all work adheres to company safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and industry standards. Participate in safety training sessions and maintain relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a field service technician, with a focus on power systems, low and medium voltage electrical systems, and exposure to mission-critical environments and projects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems independently.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel to customer sites within the service region.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment and driving relentless growth.
  • OSHA safety training or certification preferred.
